The Church

Our sanctuary is Air Conditioned and provide comfortable accommodations for all ages. We have elevator service for the handicap, a newly installed sound system and screen for Power Point presentations.

The Community

First Baptist Church supports two major activities for the youth in our community such as Vacation Bible School during March Break as well as Summer. VBS is for babies to 12 year olds. College and Careers and Jr. Youth meet every second week to participate in discussions and other activities.

Focus on Support

Our Mission Outreach extends to a school and a university in the Durham Region. The Chaplaincy team consits of a group of five volunteers who help with the Worship Service at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa. We also participate in the Inter-Church Refugee programs within our community.
